The first kicks!

Tomorrow Justin and I have a 9:45 AM appointment and that is when the long wait of wondering what we are having will finally come to an end! I am so excited to finally know if we are having a boy or a girl. Of course I will be happy with whatever the outcome is, but I just want to know!

This morning I officially felt my baby move! There is no mistaking what I felt. Justin woke up to go to the bathroom, just like every other morning. It was too cold for me to even think about getting out from underneath the warm comforter. I turned over and I was almost completely lying on my stomach. That’s when I felt the not so faint movements of our little baby. They were pretty strong and it lasted for about 5 minutes. Maybe there is a little athlete in there! So on this day, Monday January 30, 2012 at approximately 8:15 in the morning, I officially felt little baby Trotman moving.

This morning I also remembered to weigh myself. I weight exactly 109 pounds. My gums are still bleeding and at this point it is very annoying and I just want it to stop. I use a soft tooth brush and I don’t brush too hard. I am barely brushing and my mouth just can’t seem to take it. I love that we are creating this little baby, but I would be just fine without the bleeding gums. So if anyone has any suggestions as far as a solution, I would be very appreciative.
