13 Weeks!!

Today I am 13 weeks pregnant. Only one more week and I am in the 2nd trimester! I feel great. I don't feel sick anymore. I feel fabulous. My appetite is back to normal, probably above normal actually. I have been eating quite a bit more than usual for me. I have been eating more than Justin and that's saying a lot. He can put the food away, but now I can out-eat him. Easy!

Yesterday Justin and I went to Bandera and purchased our marriage license. We have an almost certain date, January 8th, 2012. All we need to do is call the JP and check to make sure he is available that day and we are golden. I chose that day because on January 7th, my great-grandmother is having a birthday party to celebrate her 95th birthday. Which means most of my family will already be in the area, which makes it perfect. I can’t wait and I am super excited about this finally happening. We have two weeks to get this thing together, we can do it. I know we can.

Yesterday Justin and I also did a little Christmas shopping. It was fun. We got the girls all three matching outfits. When we finally got back to the house we wrapped what seemed like 100s of presents. I think my hands will survive the carpal tunnel.

We have been staying out at Justin’s parents the last few days. Justin and I sold all of our furniture and are about ready to move to Houston. He already has a job lined up and we have been working on securing a place to live. We will go after our wedding. Everything seems to be working out the way we want it to. There are a few things that I wish could be different, but I am happier than I have ever been. Everything always happens for a reason and sometimes you just have to let go of certain things to secure the future you want.

Christmas is in two days!! And I get my Hailey in 3!!
