A bit more news....

I went to the doctor today. Not really for my pregnancy, but for my follow-up visit for my colposcopy results. They came back okay. I don’t have anything wrong with me as of right now. They said procedure is to have another pap smear 6 months from now or 12 months. Probably 12 months due to the pregnancy. This takes a lot of stress away. I was really worried about this, but I am glad that everything is okay. At the doctor’s appointment they confirmed my pregnancy and I weighed in at 103.8 lbs. I don’t really know much else other than the fact that my pregnancy should be normal, just like my first one.

I haven’t really had any morning sickness. I have been a lot hungrier than usual, but that could just be in my head. I have been thinking about some names. If it’s a boy, I like the name Mason. My boyfriend, Justin, likes the name Chad. If it’s a girl, we both like the middle name Jean. My great-aunt’s name is Jean, and Justin’s mom’s middle name is Jean. So needless to say both sides of the family should be happy about that. Justin said he liked the name Maria, that’s definitely not going to happen.

Other than that…..I am just really relieved that everything is perfectly fine. I am healthy and my baby is too. I can’t wait for my first prenatal visit. I am really excited to find out exactly how far along I am. I pretty confident on the first day of my last period. So I don’t think the actual due date will be much different than the calculated June 21, 2012 (06-21-12).
